Professional Metal Fence Installation
Durability Meets Modern Design
Choosing the right metal fence for your property is an investment in long-term value, aesthetics, and clear boundaries. At Refined Fencing, we specialize in high-quality metal installations, including sleek black aluminum, traditional galvanized chain link, and robust black chain link with privacy slats. Whether you want to define your backyard or outline a commercial boundary, our durable materials provide clean lines and a modern appearance that enhances any landscape.
Our team of experienced professionals guides you through every step of the selection process. Established in 2019, our local business is led by founder Aaron Anderson with a decade of industry expertise, alongside operator Michael Gilmore, who personally meets with each client, designs the layout, orders the premium materials, and oversees quality control on-site. This personalized touch ensures your metal installation perfectly aligns with your vision and budget.
Aluminum and Chain Link Options
We provide a versatile range of metal fencing materials tailored to the unique topography and preferences of the Kentuckiana area. Our black aluminum options offer the elegance of wrought iron without the heavy maintenance requirements, making them a popular choice for homeowners seeking a sophisticated look. Additionally, we offer pool-code aluminum installations designed to meet local height and spacing guidelines, and heavy-duty steel-frame gates built to prevent sagging over time.
For properties requiring utilitarian solutions, our chain link systems are available in traditional galvanized finishes or clean black vinyl coating. To increase seclusion, we can integrate custom privacy slats directly into the chain link mesh. Every project begins with a complimentary on-site consultation, where a professional estimator evaluates your property lines and provides an accurate, free estimate to help you make an informed decision.
The Custom Design and Installation Process
From the moment you schedule your free consultation to the final inspection, Refined Fencing delivers a seamless experience. Operator Michael Gilmore works directly with you during the design phase to determine the exact height, style, and placement of your metal panels. This collaborative approach ensures that your new boundary complements your existing landscape while addressing your specific goals.
Once your custom design is finalized, we source top-tier materials to guarantee structural integrity. Our skilled installers handle the precise layout and proper post setting, which is critical for metal systems to withstand shifting soil and environmental wear over time. We take great pride in our attention to detail, ensuring that every post is perfectly plumb and every gate operates smoothly.
As a locally owned company and a Nextdoor 2025 Neighborhood Fave with a 4.9-star rating on Google, we are committed to serving our communities throughout Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana. We combine our deep industry knowledge with exceptional craftsmanship to build metal fences that stand the test of time, providing a reliable boundary you can count on for years to come.
What Your Neighbors Are Saying About Us
My husband and I live in Corydon and we had Refined fencing come out and install are driveway gate. We needed our driveway redone and Michael insisted that he would help with that as well. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Refined Fencing showed up, got the job done, and made the whole front of the house look awesome. Would definitely hire them again!

I wanted to move a part of my fence 6 feet out on the side. I called several fence companies most did not call me back. The ones that did said the job was to small. Michael returned my call promptly and came to give me a quote the same day. Also kept in touch the whole time. I am very pleased with the workers and the job.

Aaron from Refined Fence and Welding LLC replaced a section of our wooden privacy fence and gate in May 2024. It still looks brand new. Aaron came out himself for the quote. It was very reasonable and the work was great. He even reinforced some of the older fence sections that I haven’t replaced yet. They had the old fence section torn down, all debris removed and new fencing and gate installed the same day. It looks fantastic. Will be reaching out soon for another section replacement.

Total refresher dealing with Aaron; He was a total gentleman and professional. I spoke with him on the phone, and I was impressed right off the bat by his candor. He followed up right away via text with his contact information and has an excellent portfolio. During our call, I gave him the square footage of my yard and the fencing style and he was looking for, and he quoted me on the same call given I was prepared. Keep at it, Refined Fencing! You all have it down!

Excellent job! A++ from start to finish. I needed a gate replaced on a 6ft wooden privacy fence and a new gate added so I can access the backyard from both sides of the house. Great communication and quality. They custom welded the gate frames too! Super happy with the results! Thanks again guys!

We had an excellent experience with this company. Work started within a couple of weeks of first contacting them. They replaced 240 feet of fencing which included removing a number of large stumps in the process over a week time frame. This was also despite a rainy week. Aaron was sure to ask about our preferences as far as design and functionality. He made consideration that the fence was secure for our small dog. Afterward he was very responsive when we needed a small touch up to the end of the fence so that our driveway gate could completely open. Someone was out the next day to address. They were respectful of my neighbors property. The yard and driveway were muddy from all the rain but I could tell they cleaned up as much as could be managed before leaving the last day.
